IDMC Free Flow type heat exchanger consists of heat transfer plates designed with a gap between two plates max. up to 11 mm, depending on the plate type. The plates are designed in such a way that corner holes of the channels are not having any metal to metal contact which ensures media / particles to flow freely.

Wide Gap PHE offers distinct advantages especially for fibrous material like juice containing pulps, cooling / heating of liquids containing solids particles & high viscous products like in the pulp/paper industry, sugar industry, waste water treatment plants, grain based ethanol production, yoghurt production, heat recovery systems and many other special tasks where normal gap plate heat exchanger may not be suitable.
